- The Schwinn A.C. Sport bike features Virtual Contact Resistance Technology - this innovative system utilizes magnets and an aluminum disk to generate a no contact heat free resistance.
- These innovations produces no noise and requires no maintenance, unlike friction systems. Smart Release provides on-demand coasting. Saves wear-and-tear on knees when reducing pedal rpm compared to fixed-gear-only bikes.
- The Schwinn A.C. Sport also includes handlebars with dual over-sized water bottle holders and 3 position fore-aft adjustment, and SPD toe-clip pedals included standard.
- Magnetic Resistance
- A revolutionary brake system uses magnets to create resistance. Nothing physically touches the wheel! There are no wear parts to maintain or replace over time, and the result is a silky smooth ride that is consistent both from bike to bike, and from ride to ride.
- Schwinn® Fit System
- Our latest design simplifies proper rider setup. Micropin adjustments allow for more accurate seat heights. Fore-aft adjustments on the seat and handlebars allow range for proper positioning and comfort, with a neutral position that makes it simple for a beginner to get started in a proper position.
- Handlebars
- We have revolutionized our handlebar design for the Sport and Performance models. We now feature dual integrated water bottle holders, “aero bar” positioning, fore-aft adjustability, and even a small shelf to hold an MP3 player for instructors. These are the most well-thought-out handlebars we’ve ever created.
